Randoms.
Played Ghostbusters some, impressed with the movie like presentation in the dialogue/pacing. Helped my brother clean some at his new home and went to lunch with the family. Then I took a friend to the hospital to have her injury examined. It took quite a while to get through the system, but she ended up with 30 stitches, which should help it heal and hopefully it makes it easier on her. It's never fun to have an accident. Then we had dinner at Outback and called it a night.

Tunnel Troubles
While getting ready to head back home, we found out that the westbound tunnel had flooded in the thunderstorm last night and the pumps had failed, causing the tunnel to be shut down. Not a common occurrence obviously, but one I'm glad we found out about beforehand as getting there and getting sent back would have been quite annoying. Instead of the tunnel we normally took, we had to go all the way around the city to another tunnel to get out of town. It wasn't horrible really, just odd.

Red
Today we got to spend the day by the ocean, eat chicken, have homemade burgers, and spend more time in the ocean. The weather was top notch (aside from a brief thunderstorm at night) and was sunny, breezy, and basically completely summer like. The water was cool and refreshing and we all got sun and mostly had enough sunscreen not to burn. A good nice day at the beach.

Welcome to the zoo
Today we took a caravan down to the Metro Richmond Zoo. Its a small zoo in comparison to some of the nationals, but it's got a quaint charm and it lets you get close to most of the animals and pet and feed most of them, including the Giraffes. Everyone had a blast and I got some cool photos. We also found a Burger King that is selling 'Funnel Cake Fries' although I didn't buy any, they sound interesting. Maybe for another day.

Fire sale.
I found a bunch of good deals on clothes in the clearance racks of Kohl's today. I got like 6 shirts (5 button down and a t-shirt) for under $50. Not too shabby. Then later in the day, we grilled up some chicken, steak, potatoes, and corn over a firepit after swimming some. A tiring day, but a good type of tired.
