SNOMG!
Geez. No sooner do we get out of one of the worst snowfalls for our area in who knows how long and there is already call for another storm tomorrow. Tomorrow! 10-20 inches. It's Snowpacolypse 3. Hopefully mother nature is satisfied with a trifecta and that's it for this season. I'm officially tired of snow.

Amazon
You have to wonder sometimes about how Amazon collates their data. Case in point. I was going through my recommendations list and saw the following: "Girls Gone Wild: Very Bad Girls, Vol. 2 [Blu-ray]". Really? So I looked down to see why it thought I would like that and saw this: "Recommended because you added Robin Hood - Season One [Blu-ray] to your Wish List" Wow. I had no idea they were related. I don't remember any 'bad girls' from season one. But it has got me thinking that maybe I need to move it up on my 'things to buy' list. Heh.

Snowed in Stuff.
Random thoughts about being snowed in. Shoveled like 3/4 of the snow from the driveway. Rest can wait until tomorrow, pacing myself. Watched Hurt Locker and Zombieland, both great movies for very different reasons. Of course, I feel guilty that I can watch them when others are without electricity and heat. I feel helpless because I know my best friend is alone in her house with a fire and a gas stove, but no power, trying to keep warm. Nothing I can do to help, except pray she's safe and gets power back soon. I can't even call her because I don't want to run down her cell phone battery in case she needs it for an emergency (aside from no power or heat of course...). Sigh.
Get over yourselves.
I'm so tired of people that have lived or are living elsewhere trying to stroke thier own ego about how this isn't a real snow and people are overreacting. It's like comparing apples and oranges. In those places, they have the plans, procedures, and budgets for it.

Ugh.
Work had already cancelled the party for tonight and set us up to go home at 1pm, but around 11am this morning the snow had started so we decided to err on the side of caution and not getting caught in the traffic or snow as panicked people fled to the safety of their homes. I got some McDonald's on the way home to tide me over until we're released from the snowpacolypse! I got to do some shoveling already today and can't wait until morning when the majority of the stuff should be down. Ugh. At least I got some time to play Mass Effect 2 today, between shovelings. I even traded some games with my brother to ensure we had some stuff to play over the weekend.
